What a fabulous idea. This may be the solution for me as well – a few years off. I am starting to think that being well-read is the best secret amunition any writer can have. I haven’t read most of these. I love Cheever and O’Connor and Carver, so those I recognize, but I’m impressed with the variety and depth of your “course.” Good luck and I look forward to the infrequent updates!

I just started Let the Great World Spin. So far, I’m enjoying it.

And I’m writing as well. I’m totally stuck on a character right now, so I’m going to go people watch this weekend and see if I can bring her to life by making up stories about other people

BTW it’s not too late to go for that OK County DA job – they can certainly use the help. Or maybe a horse lesson or two in the hill country.

I remember getting the letter I had to write to myself in Adult Living in 11th grade about what I’d be doing in 10 years. I was going to be the OK County DA and own horses…
